Caballo de Metal

                                                                     

These rails float over rough seas. 

They lead us to an abandoned town.   

It is a strength of windowless buildings protected 
by a giant metal horse, 

symbol of the greatness of the past. 

Its inhabitants who trying to get away 
from the rest of the noisy society. 

They believed their pride the keep protected. 

They did not meditate on the need for affection.             

They were drowned in his self-imposed solitude.

Estos rieles flotan sobre un mar agitado.

Nos conducen a una ciudad abandonada. 

Es una fortaleza de edificios sin ventanas 
protegidos por un gigante Caballo de metal, 

símbolo de la grandeza de otros tiempos.

Sus habitantes quienes intentando alejarse 
del resto de la ruidosa sociedad, 
 creyeron que su soberbia 
                   los matendría protegidos.                  

No meditaron sobre la necesidad 
                 del cariño y la comunicación.                  

Se quedaron ahogados en su auto impuesta soledad.
